A guess would be a new amenity combintaiton for the Sheraton, but i'm far from certain.

You could try searching for the first (or last) day of your stay to see if this hotel apepears and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase one nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'... if you're happy with the results go ahead and purchase the solo nite to see the name of the hotel. If you're happy with the results then go ahead and purchase the remaining nite; if not, make altnerate plans for the balance of your stay.

I never considered purchasing one night first, do you think it would cause problems when checking in??

I also thought it was possibly the Sheraton.

If you made two separate purchases there would be no problem at check-in, just let them know that you have two separate, but continuous reservations, and if they can block the room for the balance of your stay. You will likely have to go to the front desk at some point on 'switch day' to have them officially check you out and then check you back in, but that should be the only difference between splitting the purchase and booking the complete stay.

Of course you need to make sure that what you believe to be is the same hotel appears for both sub-set of your stay, before purchasing the first (or last) nite.

IF this is the Sheraton (and that's a pretty big 'if' as i'm far from certain) then this would seem to be a very good rate, as prices directly from the Sheraton Website start at $269/nite for your dates above.

i could not get this price on hotwire (similar dates). i contacted OP and worked out eventually that it was becaus i was putting in 2adults and 2children. 2adults only, you can get the price. with kids, crappy 2-star. any ideas why?

The hotel may not want to commit to a room with two beds, instead leaving themselves the flexibility to book full-rate customers at the room-type of their choice. It's much easier to manage hotel inventory if you book somebody 'a room' rather than a specific bed type... so for the deeply discounted rate they offer HOTWIRE they're keeping their options open.

Alternately, when HOTWIRE first started they only offered double occupancy (searching for quad occupancy was an added feature 2-3 years ago) and the hotel may not have updated to the new contract terms.

Any new information on this property? I am looking to book on Paradise Island February 19-23 2009 and am getting a Hotwire offer of $139 a night 4 star resort for $139 a night. Please HELP!!! Also does anyone have any information on a day pass for Atlantis?
