Just a note:

Upon arrival, I found out that DoubleTree technically requires guests to be 21 or older to check-in. I'm only 18, so they gave me a hard time, but I showed my university ID, and they did eventually let me check in. Still, it was a bit of a hassle, so I recommend avoiding DT if you're under 21.

If you're over 21, or if you're under 21 but don't mind a little bit of arguing, this is a great hotel for the price. No other complaints. :)

As an FYI, PRICELINE and HOTWIRE terms state that you need to be 21 years old or older to book a room thru them.

This age limit is in place as:

-many hotels trying to avoid high school parties where one person is 18 years old, books the room, and then has a party with alcohol and sometimes damage to the room (many 18 year olds don't have any money to pay for it)

-inroom minibars have alcohol in them, so by giving such a room to a person under 21 they hotel could be liable should the guest consume alcohol (and then do something stupid)
