I've been bidding this one for a few days... Rejected up to $145 (for MTW and Times Square zones) for the last 3 days

Here's how my bidding went tonight...

1. 4* MTW $120

2. added Times Square - $130

3. added Chelsea (free rebid) - $135

Accepted for the Crowne Plaza Times Square

Saturday March 14, 2009 - Thursday March 19, 2009 (5 mights)

Subtotal: $675

Taxes: $131.42

Total Charges: $806.42

Haven't stayed in this hotel, but it's pretty central to everything we'll be doing in the city... Rates on the hotel website for these nights are $288.50

A friend stayed at this property a couple years ago and thought it was a fine,well-located hotel. However, it has recently been updated/renovated, according to the website.

Just out of curiosity, another posting from a few days ago listed the Crowne Plaza as a 3.5*. The hotel list also lists this hotel as a 3.5* (and a post from Sept. 2008) lists it as a 3*. I assume they've upgraded it to a 4 star? My bid was definitely for a 4 star...

Within the last 2-3 days this property has been upgraded to a 4* hotel, accordingly the PRICELINE's classifications.
