alombar1 Posted January 18, 2009 Author Report Posted January 18, 2009 do you think this is a pretty good deal? rooms at AAA rate on Marriott's website are going for $159. What is the typical rate for this hotel?
thereuare Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 When comparing rates we usually use 'best available' rates since these are those avaialble to the general public (AAA rates are not... just like employee or government discounts are not)Hotel direct rates start at $179 so about a third off of conventional rates... $120 is near the low end of the range for this property.. alombar1 Posted March 15, 2009 Author Report Posted March 15, 2009 Just got home, it was a fantastic trip.We got automatically upgraded to partial ocean view, which was nice. We did not have much interaction with hotel staff, but didn't need to, we were only using the hotel for sleeping and pool. Also, the sushi restaurant in the hotel is very good.Getting this hotel at 120/night is a great deal!
