Dmgators Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Hi, I need a little help with getting a good deal on a hotel for one night near the Miami airport. I have used PRICELINE before but not for a Miami hotel. We want to be as close to the airport as possible as our flight out is at 6:55 am.What would be a good starting bid for a 4*? Please note that this is the Friday night of Super Bowl weekend. Prices on PRICELINE for 4*s are around $200 - $225 right now. Thanks for your help!

Dmgators Posted November 6, 2008 Author Report Posted November 6, 2008 Thanks!I was thinking max bid for a 4* at $125.The last time I used Priceline we got the Don Cesar on St. Pete Beach for $120 a night, but I only followed the lead of a friend who had already successfully bid that. The Don is the only 4* on St. Pete Beach, BTW, so that helped as well.I will be sure to use your links!

Dmgators Posted January 13, 2009 Author Report Posted January 13, 2009 Not the biggest deal in the world since I could get the room on their website for $125....Anybody know anything about this hotel?
AaronJB Posted January 14, 2009 Report Posted January 14, 2009 Sorry it didn't turn out to be a better deal. The hotel gets mostly good (aside from a couple recent negatives) reviews on tripadvisor.Enjoy your trip. :)
Dmgators Posted January 14, 2009 Author Report Posted January 14, 2009 Thanks, and thank you for fixing my typo! It's just a pit stop on our way to the BVI, so a comfy bed was the main concern.
