I'm wanting to go from Feb 12 departing Feb 15, and I'm getting a price of $155 a night. It also says it's 2.9 miles to the airport.

For example, I'm looking at a 5* center strip hotel 2.9 miles from the airport. Well, The Venetian is 2.7 and Encore is 3.0, so I'm not sure what it could be.

FriscoTom Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Maybe there are different 5* offering the same rate for the same date?I think Hotwire only shows one 5* in the area, normally the one with the lowest rate.Maybe they are reading here too and have come to the conclusion that sometimes it is possible to identify what you get before you book it..."You save big because you agree to learn the hotel name after you book."

I booked (using this site's HOTWIRE link) the Wynn for $152 a night for three nights from Feb 12 to Feb 15. Showed 1460 trip advisor reviews with 8 amenities listed; casino, spa, tennis, golf, business center, restaurants, pool, fitness center.$152 per night seemed to be more than people are paying here, but it is Valentine's weekend.
