Started 3 star at $95 and raised it up to $120 with MTW, MTE, UM-CPS and UWSGot the Paramount Hotel......kind of funky so I hope they like it!!!!!!!!!! Link to comment

I guess your cousins are pretty thankful too!Hope they have a great time over here (if i can make a suggestion, a stop at McSorley's should be on their list of things to do if they'd like to have a few mugs). Are they really only spending one nite in NYC or this just one stop on a multi-stop trip?Any other help/suggestions i can offer for their visit please let me know. Phaelon56 Posted August 6, 2004 Report Share Posted August 6, 2004 The rooms are small at the Paramount but it's got a funky/cool decor and the lobby area is impressive - very non-hotel like and eclectic. Small room size is not really a problem as it's in a great location - convenient to everything but in the middle of the block so the rooms are generally quiet enough. That's a very good price. They are hoping to see a Broadway show, have dinner and just walk around.....they want to check out Ground Zero and Chinatown. juice - Were is McSorleys located.....Midtown or Downtown. When do they have the $.25 beers (all day or just at certain times). Phaelon56...Glad you thought I got a good price on the hotel...I was hoping for around $100 but no luck.Many thanks to all.
