microbus Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 I offered $95 for a 5* and was countered at $161. Arrive 1/9/08, depart 1/11/08.
thereuare Posted January 5, 2009 Report Posted January 5, 2009 Welcome to BetterBidding!PRICELINE will often take less than their counter-offer, but based upon the 'distance' between your bid and their counter, i'm guessing the amount needed will be closer to $160 than it will be to $95.What is your maximum bid for this stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.PS- also note that this is during CES, one of the larger conventions in Vegas, and while things are 'soft' in Vegas right now, it's making CES affordable, where in previous years you'd never see rates in the mid-$100's during CES Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
microbus Posted January 5, 2009 Author Report Posted January 5, 2009 I am hoping to get in a 4+ star for around $100 on the strip. I am headed over for the vintage motorcycle auction with my wife. The nicer the accommodations, the higher I can bid on some vintage iron. :)
thereuare Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Are you ready to lower your star rating to 4*? Also, note that there are some 4* hotels which are in the Strip zone(s) but located slightly off the strip (such as the Westin)... is this acceptable? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know the above and we'll advise accordingly.
