Is there another hotel it could be as well? Thanks
karebear06 Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 I would like to stay at the Gaylord 2/20-2/22. How would I go about bidding? I know I can't put a name down, but I can narrow it down by the options I pick. What options/area/star rating do I choose.Thanks.
AaronJB Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 While there is the chance this may be a hotel that has not yet been reported, in terms of the hotels that have been reported, it would be a match for the Gaylord. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase. Thank you, and let us know how it goes/if you have any questions.
karebear06 Posted January 4, 2009 Author Report Posted January 4, 2009 I originally had this post in the priceline forum, but somehow it got moved to here. I know how hotwire works, I am just a little confused about priceline.

karebear06 Posted January 5, 2009 Author Report Posted January 5, 2009 I apologize. I thought I needed to post priceline questions in a priceline thread and hotwire questions in a hotwire thread. Thanks for the clarification. BTW, I replied to my message

karebear06 Posted January 6, 2009 Author Report Posted January 6, 2009 I would be interested in any hotel that is 4.5 stars and up located close to Disney. I just want to have an idea what hotels meet that criteria. So I am real interested in using priceline.
thereuare Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 You need to accept what you can, and can't, control when using PRICELINE.Assuming by 4.5* you mean 'resort' class properties (PRICELINE doesn't use a 4.5* in their rating system and there currently are not any 5* hotels offered in this area), you can see the Resort class hotels previously reported in our Priceline Hotel List. As per the comments at the top of the hotel list, new hotels are added all the time, and other hotels are upgraded/downgraded, so there is no guarantee that you will receive a hotel which already appears on the list, or that the hotel you will receive will be rated the same as it appear on the hotel list.As well, "near Disney" is relative... what is close for somebody may seem far away for somebody else. The hotel you receive can be anywhere within the shaded boundaries of the zone you select (which i assume is the Disneyworld zone)... if you go to PRICELINE and look at the zone, are you willing to accept a property anywhere within the shaded boundaries of that zone? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. karebear06 Posted January 20, 2009 Author Report Posted January 20, 2009 Okay, we still have not decided but I think the price went down to $90. The only thing is , there are different amenities listed. So, is it still Gaylord Palms or could it be different now?2/20-2/22 Disney Maingate/ Celebration$904.5 Stars and Customer Favorite4.5 out of 5 on Trip AdvisorResortFitness CenterPoolRestaurantBusiness CenterLaundryHSIAGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpaThanks
