pterrell Posted January 4, 2009 Report Posted January 4, 2009 $51 opening bid on 3*, accepted at Courtyard by MarriottWhat's that saying about the hot iron strikes only once? At noon, I tried to extend my previous stay at Residence Inn, but of course the cut off is 11am (shouldn't it be the same time as checkout, which is 1pm at the Residence Inn...). The wife and I took that as I sign we should head out of town. But by the time we said bye to everyone, and stopped for a late lunch, the sun was already going down. So I used the Wi-Fi, rolled the dice, and got a hotel "across the river".Not as great of a savings as AAA rate with tax is $89.60. But the savings will cover breakfast tomorrow with the family. :-)Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $51.00Subtotal: $51.00Taxes & Service Fees: $13.87Total Charges*: $64.87

pterrell Posted January 7, 2009 Author Report Posted January 7, 2009 And I asked for a room with a microwave, sighting the need to heat the babies formula. The clerk had one delivered to the room with no charge. And there was a fridge in the cabinet under the TV. So the dinner leftovers were kept cold and then heated for a late night snack. :)
