Has anyone been able to fgure out what the 4.5* Hotwire hotel is on the vegas strip.

I tried using the vacation option but no 4.5* has appeared yet as a part of a vacation package.

Here is an amenities list

Las Vegas Strip 4.5*

This hotel features the following amenities:

Casino

A full-service casino -- including slot/video machines, sports betting, bingo, card games and dice games (depending on state laws) -- is accessible from the hotel lobby.

Restaurant(s)

At least one restaurant is located on the hotel premises.

Pool(s)

Hotel features at least one pool area. (Note: This amenity offering may be seasonal. Please check hours/availability directly with the hotel.)

Fitness Center

Hotel features exercise equipment.

Business Center

Hotel offers guests access to business equipment/services.

Tennis Nearby

Tennis court(s) within walking distance or a short drive from the hotel.

Spa Services

Hotel offers spa services on the premises.

Maybe it's the Monte Carlo or Paris?

I think the tip-off for this one is the tennis, but it is "tennis nearby" which could mean anything :)

I looked on Expedia's property description for the Monte Carlo and they mention that they have "lighted tennis courts", so although it's just a guess, that would be my top choice if i had to choose. But again, their "nearby" could include just about any property in Vegas.

I thought Bally's also based upon the tennis, but i would think Bally's would be more of a 4* hotel rather than a 4.5*.

Paris is a good guess as well, but i would lean toward the Monte Carlo if i had to guess from the standpoint that they offer tennis on the premises.

I too have been curious what hotel this might be.

For April 25-27 the 4.5* on Hotwire is at $450 a night.

The only hotel that I can find in that price range through other searches is the Mirage - which comes us at $469 a night. Is this a possibility as well? I don't know the hotel to know if it has tennis nearby or not.

The Mirage's website shows 4/25-4/27 at an average cost of $259/nite, so if it were indeed The Mirage i think Hotwire would lose some money on their "Double the Difference Guarantee" (not that they haven't lost money before, see THIS THREAD from Byeloe)

I've stayed at the Mirage a few years ago, and i don't recall any tennis courts on the property, but the "nearby" could always mean that the hotel has a shuttle bus (or taxi) that would take you to the tennis courts (which i think most of the "upper tier" hotels can arrange).

Anything is possible, but i would still place my best guess on the Monte Carlo for the reasons in my prior post, although i'm far from certain that this is indeed the property.

If you go to Vegas.com, and to Hotel Discounts.com - the Mirage comes up at $469 a night. I too saw it on the Mirage site for $269.

So not sure what to think on this one.

My guess is "New York New York" as that is the most common one I have seen pop up from Hotwire even when it is not listed in their packages.
