Hotwire Hotel: Westin Inn or Post Oak Galleria Houston

I would like a two bedroom suite at Lake Woodlands or Market Street Residence Inn. I am not sure how to bid for that. Also, what are some clues that it is the Residence Inn Marriott I am bidding on. What about on hotwire? Is the hotel on hotwire also? How do I find out how many stars the hotel is? I know the Lake Woodlands Residence works with priceline, but does Market STreet. I would prefer the one off of Six Pines Market Street as I have stayed there and it was great.

Any help would be appreciated. I am clueless.

I was thinking of renting a hotel sometime around spring break. I would love to stay inside of the galleria. I believe Westin Inn and Post Oak are both inside of the galleria. How do I know I will end up with these hotels? What clues do I need for priceline or hotwire?

Thanks.

Welcome to the site. :)

We ask that you have dates/plans firm before doing research on your stay.

Additionally, while you note that you want specific hotels, keep in mind that HOTWIRE and PRICELINE are the best way to get a deal, they are not the best way to get a specific property - especially PRICELINE. As for HOTWIRE, while a listing may *Match* the amenities associated with a particular hotel, there's always the chance it could be something else that has not yet been reported.

Would you be able to accept if you got a deal on a hotel that wasn't among your "first choices"?

Also, are all three of your posts for the same stay? Do you have dates firm?

I want to stay at the Residence Inn Market Street (first choice) or the Lake Woodlands Residence Inn Woodlands off of Lake Front Circle. I would like a two bedroom suite or two rooms, and I want to invite two of my daughter's friends. It is really important that I get this hotel, as these facilities have an inside pool for entertaining her friends. I have a definite date. I want to stay January 17th through the 18th.

The hotels inside the galleria I am not sure really. I just want to know when I put in the date, what do I need to look for. I am thinking Spring Break, and for Spring break I will pay all the way up to one hundred. However, if I could get it for 60.00 I would like to go on January 31st and then on Spring Break.

I know it's not a guarantee, but I thought sometimes it is really good chance due to star rating and checking trip advisor. Could I specify an inside pool in my search? That would guarantee me the hotel I want in the Woodlands. I don't think Market street Residence Inn participates, but the Lake woodlands hotel does participate with priceline.

Let's start with just one stay at a time, for 1/17-1/18...

As AaronJB has pointed out above, if you need/want a specific hotel then PRICELINE is probably not the best option for this stay. If you're willing to take a chance, HOTWIRE may be an option, and you can try to match up the hotels offered with what has previously been reported in the Hotwire Hotel List.
