bbarrettx Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Using Hotwire for a 1/2 reservation. I'd like to be in that area that's near the airport (5-10 minutes). It doesn't look like Embassy Suites is offering. Do any of the others look to be in this area? Thanks.
AaronJB Posted January 1, 2009 Report Posted January 1, 2009 Welcome to the site. :)A 4* with the amenities: Boutique, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business is showing in San Juan, and that appears to be a possible match for the El Convento. If that is the El Convento, while a little further from the airport than you were looking for (14 minutes by car, according to Google), it is the #1 rated hotel in the area on Tripadvisor.There is a 3.5* that appears to be the Park Plaza Normandie, which gets much less favorable reviews.There's also a 3* that appears to be the Doubletree, based on the amenities showing (pool, business, internet) for $79.If any of these possibilities do sound appealing, please use the site's link to HOTWIRE to start your purchase.Sorry I'm not more familiar with the area.
