Priceline Hotel: Looking for 5* in Las Vegas?

The Venetian in Las Vegas is "known" to only offer their best rate to Priceline 7 days before check-in.

This is NOT to say that Priceline doesn't have access to inventory more than 7 days before check-in, it's just to make you aware that it will likely take a higher bid than some of the other "winning bids" that are booked inside of 7 days.

I have noticed quite a few recent wins where people are getting the Venetian for $99 over a couple of months before check-in. These recent ones seem to be coming in for (midweek) April stays at the moment.

I assume this will continue to be the lowest rate that is accepted by Priceline for the Venetian and so, while it may not be worth bidding much higher a long time before check-in, it certainly seems there is no harm starting early to try and get a $99 rate.
