knthe6boys Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Searched Bloomington. This was listed as 3* Eden Prairie/Shakopee for $49/nightSuite, nonsmoking, business center, breakfast, pool, fitness roomWe decided to stay another night and found the same listing to book one more night just before checkout time on the 23rd. It seems that different properties must be booked/purchased differently by Hotwire, as there's a difference in hotel listings when searching for a room for 2 or a room for 4. (Thus, some properties may only have "king" rooms, while others have 2 doubles/queens.) The other thing I've noticed is that sometimes what appears to be the same hotel comes up when searching for 2/room as when I search 4/room, but the price may be a bit higher ($5-7) for 4/room than when it came up 2/room.
AaronJB Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Welcome to the site! :)Thank you for posting your win. If you didn't this time, it would be greatly appreciated if you could start future travel purchases by clicking on the site's link to HOTWIRE.Some hotels may charge more for a 2-bed room than a 1 bed room and/or may charge more for quad occupancy versus double occupancy, which results in changes between searching for 2 and searching for 4. Some HOTWIRE hotels will only come up when searching for 2.Thanks again for posting your win, and we have added this newly reported property to the site's hotel list.
