LD5
First time using HOTWIRE. Used the Betterbidding link.Westin Los Angeles Airport $99 Feb 11-Feb 15, 2009.Amenities listed were: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurants, Business Center, Laundry, Hi-Speed Internet.Might have found a bit cheaper deal using PRICELINE but we have 2 young children and we wantedto feel comfortable knowing we would have room for 4. Especially since some 4* hotels in the LAXarea cater only to adults and have only 1 King or Queen bed. If we accidentally got one of those hotel roomsI would have had to book a 2nd room immediately.Watched the HOTWIRE price for 4* LAX for a while. Moved from about $129 to $119 to $109 and now $99.Who knows, with the bad economy we might see $69 eventually but $99 was fair enough.Priceline posted price $125 per night for the Westin.Expedia is at $118.30 per night.Travelocity is $136 per night.
