Unfortunately, my roommate booked the hotel and chose a different hotel on hotwire (2.5*, Florida Mall, $33, Washer/Dryer and Internet Access) and it ended up being Crestwood Suites.. I looked up the hotel on tripadvisor and it's only rated 1 star! What gives? Is there any way I can appeal this with Hotwire?

What you see on trip advisor is not a star rating but more of an overall customer satisfaction rating. For the most part, star ratings for the hotels are determined by their amenities.

Tripadvisor star ratings are often incorrect. This hotel is more accurately rated 2* on other major travel sites.
