hommer Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Hi Guys,I will be in Orlando for Disney World from 12/25 to 12/28. I am on a budget and I want a room close to the 3 themeparks. My budget is around $50 a night preferably a 2*. I was able to book a 2.5* in sarasota for $50 (half price) on PRICELINE. It would be nice to have a 2*-3* hotel in Orlando for $50 or less a night. I don't mind staying in a 1* as long as it is in a safe area and in decent conditon but it gotta be lower than $40/night. The lowest price I saw on PRICELINE right now is $45 (after taxes and fees) a night in Kissemme area. Would I be able to bid for half of that price? Which area on priceline should I choose?I am not sure which one is closer to the 3 themeparks. Any suggestions and helps are greatly appreciated.Thank you and have a pleasant holiday to all.

hommer Posted December 13, 2008 Author Report Posted December 13, 2008 I will post a new topic soon. Price is the most important factor then location. I would also like to know which area from the one listed on priceline is close to the 3 themes park? I used to stay in Kissemee and it was pretty close to disneyworld and seaworld. Thanks
thereuare Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Have you tried using our Priceline Maps for this area? It will visually show you everything in the area so you can determine how far specific hotels are from your area, as well, there is a link to see recent wins for each property, and you can use that as a guide to see if that hotel may be within your budget, as well as see what zone that property is located in. Just keep in mind that the hotel you win can be anywhere within the shaded boundaries of the zone as defined by PRICELINE, so if you find a hotel that you think may be good, see what zone it is located in, and ensure that you'd be confortable with a hotel anywhere in that zone.Once you determine which zones you're willing to accept we'll be able to suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
