I got 3-day hotel reservation through bidding on priceline, but I couldn't make the trip any more. I've tried my luck with priceline customer service but out of no surprise they refused to do any form of change/cancel for me. So is it possible for me to sell the reservation to someone else so that I could still get some money back? I'm not sure if it's legal or ethical to do so, so please just let me know if this is something I shouldn't do. Thanks a lot!

Here is details of my win:

Hotel: Trump (5-star on North Stripe, Vegas)

Date: 12/24~12/27

Price: $110/per day (started with $70)

I'd really appreciate if someone could let me know whether he/she has sold reservation before, or if it's generally doable. Thanks a lot!

As per PRICELINE's terms your purchase is "non-refundable and non-tranferable" which means that you won't be able to sell the reservation to somebody else.

I'm doubtful it will help, but if you're able to postpone, rather than cancel your reservation, you may be able to get the hotel to honor your reservation for a few days earlier/later. I put your chances at least than 50/50 (much less in fact) but nothing to lose by trying if you're able to postpone the trip.
