Note that there are 2 Moevenpick Hotels in Stuttgart actually they are both at the airport.

The "Messe" (= trade fair) Moevenpick is the old "Airport", 3* only just a few steps from airport terminal 1 (not renovated for years, weekday prices start 80 EUR)

The "airport" Moevenpick is quite new (opened 2007) stylish 4*, also just a few steps to airport terminal 3

For downtown Stuttgart it's a 35min U-Bahn ride...
