whatadanimal Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 I tried to bid at $69.00, and PRICELINE came back with a counter offer of $111.00. I was wondering if anyone knows what this hotel is?
thereuare Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 There are no 4* hotels having been reported to the board in this zone, and with PRICELINE, there is no way to tell which hotel is being offered... you have to be willing to accept any hotel in the zone at the minimum star rating you selected. What are the date(s) of your stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. whatadanimal Posted December 2, 2008 Author Report Posted December 2, 2008 I bid in the Atlantic City Area zone for one night 12/11. I think that it is the Borgata.
thereuare Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 The Borgota is possible, but other 4* properties would come to mind before that one... but with PRICELINE you could receive any 4* hotel in the zone. With the economic slowdown we're experiencing, we're starting to see new hotels participating with the opaque suppliers in order to try to fill rooms which would otherwise be vacant.Hotel Chelsea is one hotel which recently started dealing with HOTWIRE and hasn't come up via PRICELINE... it's unknown if they're participating with PRICELINE as well, but i would at least consider that to be a possibility. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. whatadanimal Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 I think that I am just going to stick my original reservation that I made at the Tropicana for $49.00. That is just too good of a deal to take a random chance on PRICELINE for. If you hear of anything better let me know. Thanks for all your help, Dan
