daniukid Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Just found 4 star all-inclusive hotel in Cabo San Lucas for $210, and here are the amenities listed:All inclusiveResortBeachfrontFood and Bev IncludedPrem Beverages IncludedA La Carte DiningWater Sports / Activities IncludedEvening Entertainment IncludedAny help ID'ing would be much appreciated. Also, if I selected 2 people in one room, does the amount which is $210 included both people for all you can eat and drink? Or is it only one? I assume both? Thanks!Daniukid :)
slick_gd Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 What are the dates of your stay?It also looks like you may be missing some amenities. The icons are limited to 8 but there can often times be more, especially for resorts. To see the full list click 'continue' on the hotel from the search results page and then underneath the icons click 'see all amenities'.
daniukid Posted December 1, 2008 Author Report Posted December 1, 2008 Thanks for the pointer: so here's the entire list:1. Resort2. Beachfront3. Food and Bev Included4. Premium Beverages Included5. A La Carte Dining6. Water Sports / Activities Included7. Evening Entertainment Included8. Daily Activities Included9. Complimentary Breakfast10. Fitness Center11. Pool(s)12. Restaurant(s)13. Business Center14. High-Speed Internet Access15. Tennis Nearby16. Spa Services17. All-InclusiveSo any help on potentially identifying this property? And any idea if the HOTWIRE bid is good for 2 people instead of one? Dates are 12/13 - 12/17.Best,Daniukid
thereuare Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 The above is a match for the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas All Inclusive so that would be our best guess.Your HOTWIRE reservation is for as many people as you include in your search (up to quad occupancy)... if you click this HOTWIRE link you'll see where you input your destination, number rooms, adults, and children. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. daniukid Posted December 22, 2009 Author Report Posted December 22, 2009 It was actually a non All-Inclusive Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. It was a great hotel although a bit far from downtown. They do have a convenient shuttle bus to the other hotel property that is about 15 mins walk from downtown.
thereuare Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 It was actually a non All-Inclusive Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach....Tthe hotel you asked about above showed an 'all-inclusive' icon, so i'm assuming you purchased a different HOTWIRE property. Can you please add a reply to this thread with the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. daniukid Posted December 22, 2009 Author Report Posted December 22, 2009 If you are bidding on the following amenities in Cabo, then I go the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach (non inclusive though. I think you have to pay more for it.)1. Resort2. Beachfront3. Food and Bev Included4. Premium Beverages Included5. A La Carte Dining6. Water Sports / Activities Included7. Evening Entertainment Included8. Daily Activities Included9. Complimentary Breakfast10. Fitness Center11. Pool(s)12. Restaurant(s)13. Business Center14. High-Speed Internet Access15. Tennis Nearby16. Spa Services17. All-Inclusive
thereuare Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 I saw the original list above, but i dont' think that is likely the hotel you actually purchased. If HOTWIRE shows the All-Inclusive icon then you're entitled to everything (ie- food, drink, activities, etc) that the hotel offers... did you show up at the hotel and were told that food and drinks were additional? (and you didn't call HOTWIRE to confirm/rectify the situation?? :) )If you go back to HOTWIRE and click the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page, can you still view the details of the hotel you purchases? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
