We got this hotel for a Thanksgiving getaway just over two weeks in advance; this was our first bid:

It's a very nice property, located almost literally across the street from the State Capitol. The only other thing to keep in mind is that they charge $17/day for self-parking access and all nearby garages are equally expensive.
