Started bidding at $55 and worked up $5 at a time until, at $65 was met with a "one time offer" to add $17 and rebid... which instead of accepting we proceeded to add $1 at a time until we hit at $74. This is a very good deal (best direct rates offered are $149... best available for my nights was $179)... especially for a holiday weekend. This property is very nice (have stayed here 3 other times... once through Priceline, and twice booked direct). It gets a very nice Tripadvisor rating of 4 of 25 La Jolla hotels also.
