lightwolf Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Used the PRICELINE link here to get 2 rooms for one night in SFO area at Hyatt Regency for bid of $76.00 per room per night. Probably could have done a little better, but I'm fairly new at Priceline and had a short time window, so didn't want to waste time with the 24-hour waits. Happy with the price, as Travelocity had the same hotel same date for $209 at bid time (as did the hotel's website).HOTWIRE was offering a 4* in same area for $89.00, so took 15% off that. Thanks for the tips!
thereuare Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your win! This is a nice deal for this property vs. covnentionally booked rates. For future reference, you can use re-bid zones in order to bid again inside of the 24 hour lock-out period. If you're not familiar with re-bidding, you can learn more about it here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask any questions you may have.I've stayed at this property (twice) and enjoyed your stay each time... board member zbenye recommends asking for a room near the back of the hotel (not facing the main street in front of the property) to avoid nighttime noise.Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay.
