I just found out about this site. I went to the Priceline and hotwire calendar wins on this site but it seems its only for the US i couldnt find the prices won my others, for rooms in london

I have no reference on how much i should be bidding so i dont want to start without a bench mark..

I looked through the priceline website in thebidding section and couldnt find the possible hotels and there star rating so i can chane my selection if my bid is unsuccesful

I saw on lastminute some 4*hotel in Kensingston for 64 british pound on the cheapest night and on average 76 pounds about 114 dollars per night

So i am willing to pay less than 114 dollars on average per night

I am looking for 2 double rooms from the 8-22 December 08.

In the following areas listed with preference..

Mayfair - Soho

Westminster

Bloomsbury - Marble Arch

Kensington - Earls Court - Knightsbridge

Notting Hill - Bayswater

As you can see i am quite flexible as long as i get a decent place with decent price. A very good point will be to be close to pubvlic transport but i guess this will be quiet difficult to include it inteh search.

Any advice guide do let me know PLEASE!

Look under "Other Countries" (it's alphabetical so look near the O's)

I looked through the PRICELINE website in thebidding section and couldnt find the possible hotels and there star rating so i can chane my selection if my bid is unsuccesful

PRICELINE isn't going to list the hotels they offer in each zone, nor should our own Priceline Hotel List be used to determine your re-bid zones. The property way to determine your re-bid zones is outlined here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained... although unfortunately you don't have any re-bid zones at the 4* level.

I am looking for 2 double rooms from the 8-22 December 08.

Can you clarify... are you looking for ONE ROOM with 2 beds OR looking for TWO rooms with at least one double bed in each?

If the above is rejected (and before you bid) i would also check HOTWIRE... there is a $62 hotel in The City-Financial zone, if this would work for your needs you may not want to bid as above. If this zone is too far out for your needs, there are multiple hotels at the 4* level ~$100/nite in the Notting Hill, Westminster, and Bloomsbury zones. I would consider all of these before bidding to make sure that you don't overbid.
