giadav
I'm willing to go higher, but also need to book post cruise 2 night stay 3/15 to 3/17. Any ideas?I am thinking that there will be some good deals the closer we get to March. In that past, I have bid and got the Caribe Hilton for under $100. I think these days are gone. Link to comment
thereuare
With time on your side there's certainly no hurry to increase your bid, but you may want to consider booking a cancellable back-up just to protect yourself from rates rising from here. (please use the links in the support page for any hotel-direct purchases)For your post-cruise stay please start a NEW TOPIC.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. giadav
Still bidding for this date. Starting at $90 and going up to $125 with my rebid zones. No luck. I did win on my post cruise dates and will start a new topic for that. Link to comment
thereuare
Have you booked a cancellable back-up? If so, where and how much? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. giadav
Yes. The Marriott Miramam for $130. I guess it's not on the beach. I would prefer something on the beach. Would love to get the Caribe. That has always been my win in the past for under $100. I don't know how realistic that is now. Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are fairly high for this nite... are you willing to pay anymore than your back-up rate ($125) for something on the beach? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. thereuare
So how high are you willing to go for something on the beach?Would a "resort" hotel on PRICELINE be acceptable, even though that doesn't implicitly guarantee you something on the beach, although i suspsect it would be a 'nice' place with a good pool area/environment.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. giadav
Ok, I have been bidding 4* up to $140 for this night pretty regularly. I don't want to go any higher. Today I dropped down to a 3* and bid up to $115....rejected.Wow, I have been spoiled! I travel this time of year on a yearly bases and have always had great luck with a fantastic price. I'm not giving up yet, I just hope I don't have to go higher the $115 for a 3*. Link to comment
flying pig
Keep trying with a cancellable backup :) Link to comment
giadav
:) FINALLY!!!!!I just saw someone win a bid for the Caribe Hilton on 3/15/09 for $95. So I thought I would give my 3/7/09 date another try.Bid $95 rejected. (atthis point I'm a little frustrated) so...Add rebid zone $110 and got accepted for the Caribe Hilton!!P.S. I used your PRICELINE link. Thank you Link to comment
