rtaite Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 All,Hope this info helps. I thought 70 for a 4* in downtown Austin was very good. Is it because it's the Friday after Thanksgiving?Ralph
thereuare Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 Welcome to BetterBidding! The day of after Thanksgiving is not typically a busy time for hotels. However, if you enter "Austin Downtown" (without the quotes) in the QUICK SEARCH box in the blue banner at the top of the page you'll see more 4* hotels in this zone this time of year cost a little more than $70.I don't think you're too far off... what is the best rate you're able to find for a 4* hotel for this stay? What is your maximum bid amount for this stay? Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know the aboev and we'll advise accordingly.
