loveamerica Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 I'm trying to book the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for our honeymoon. When I enter our dates (08/25-08/28) on Hotwire, I get a 4* hotel on central strip for 89 dollars a night. The amenities from the hotel that appeared are: Casino, fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, golf nearby, spa services. Is there a chance that it's the Planet Hollywood?Thank you for your help.
slick_gd Posted November 24, 2008 Report Posted November 24, 2008 This one actually looks to be a match to Treasure Island. However, if you change the search parameters to 2 Adults and 1 Child a different hotel comes up for $93, with amenitiesCasino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, SpaThis one looks to be a match Planet Hollywood. Another check is that HOTWIRE mentions a tripadvisor traveler rating of 3.5/5 based on 1620+ reviews, and Planet Hollywood has a 3.5/5 rating based on 1630 reviews, which matches. These would be my guesses.I notice your dates are 9 months away. Are these dates fully confirmed? Keep in mind that there are no cancellations with a HOTWIRE booking. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
loveamerica Posted November 25, 2008 Author Report Posted November 25, 2008 Thank you for your answer. I'm indead planning our holiday for next summer. As it's our honeymoon, I want to book everything in advance so I'm sure that everything is booked. The dates are already confirmed as I have already booked and paid the flights with United.I've read that booking so many time in advance is not a problem with HOTWIRE or do you think it is?Greetz
slick_gd Posted November 25, 2008 Report Posted November 25, 2008 There are no problems with booking well in advance on HOTWIRE. My general concern is that there is an increased risk of plans changing when booking so far in advance and I don't want to see people get stuck with a hotel they don't need anymore. But seeing as how your flights are already booked, I say enjoy your trip!
