Double_Downon11 Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 Friends of ours are looking for a hotel in Niagara Falls tomorrow evening and since they will be travelling with their two young children they were hoping to get a suite for the evening. Is there any way of bidding on suites in Niagara Falls or is it better if they book directly with a hotel?
thereuare Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 There is no way to bid specifically for a suite, and PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy.Another option is to use HOTWIRE... they can search for quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accomodations for everyone they include in the search (although in some instances the 'second bed' coudl be a pull-out couch or rollaway). Also, if they're refering to a 'suite' such as a premium room at a Marriott or Hilton, then they're not going to be able to get that thru PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, but suite properties (such as Embassy Suites, Comfort Suites, etc) can be identified thru the "S" icon shown before the HOTWIRE purchase. Lastly, they can see if a Condo property is shown which may work for their needs. Please ask them to use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board here should they proceed (and of course let us know the results too) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Double_Downon11 Posted November 21, 2008 Author Report Posted November 21, 2008 Okay makes sense. Thanks for the heads up.
