hi all,

I'm planning to go to Vegas on 12/05 - 12/07 and want to try for Planet Hollywood. I'm noticing that it's either listed as South Strip or Center Strip. Can you help clarify this before i finalize plans? At this time, i'm thinking of making a bid at priceline....unless you all have other suggestions? Oh, and i was trying to shoot for a price of under $90 based on the past winning bids. Sound reasonable?

thanks!

Planet Hollywood has been seen on HOTWIRE in the Centre Strip zone, and on PRICELINE in the Strip South zone. Each site has different zoning for each city.

Right now for your dates I am seeing what looks to be Treasure Island on HOTWIRE for $192/night.

Amenities: casino, fitness, pool, restaurant, business, golf nearby, spa

Even by changing up the combination of adults and children I can't get another hotel to show up.

The only hotel close to your $90 is a 3* in the Central Strip for $95 which looks to be the Imperial Palace:

Amenities: casino, fitness, pool, restaurant, internet, business, spa

Hotels can and do change all the time on HOTWIRE however you are not guaranteed that Planet Hollywood will ever show up.

You can typically get better deals on PRICELINE than on HOTWIRE, however, you have no idea which hotel you are going to get, and there are no cancellations if you don't like the result.

Based on previous wins reported to the board, you may get either the MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, NYNY, The Westin or even another hotel.

Let us know what you want to do and we can help you with a bidding strategy for Vegas if you choose to go with PRICELINE
