Priceline Hotel: 2.5* Newark (Elizabeth) Country Inn and Suites

Very happy with this hotel, although this was my last choice area. I just didn't want to exceed $65 per night in the other areas.

BTW, Priceline has greatly consolidated the Northern NJ areas which makes the whole thing a lot more touchy if you're trying to narrow your possible hotels.
