BeachBum Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 First bid. Used the PRICELINE link. I think the addition of the 3.5* level has removed some transparency from this zone -- great news if you have a morning flight out of PHL, especially on weekends.
thereuare Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Congratulations on your win!Overall i'm a BIG fan of the 3.5* rating system as it gives a nice 'home' for hotels which are better than 3* yet not quite up to the standards of a 4*... previously it was a coin toss which star rating such a property would be classified in. However, in adding the 3.5* category i also think what is required for a 3* has diminished somewhat (ie- most Courtyards not being rated 3 stars)... but that's simply a matter of adjusting expectations in regards to what to expect at each star level, which will simply take some time to get into a new mindset.Hope this win works well for your needs (hopefully you don't have an early flight as i find them brutal).Thank you for sharing your results with the board and using our PRICELINE link to begin your bidding.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
