Thank you for your help Thereuare.
thereuare Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 I'm fairly certain that a $75 bid will put you over $80 total, but you can follow the strategy outlined below and stop at whatever amount you feel comfortable with (just doublecheck the total on PRICELINE's confirmation page before submitting your bid to make sure the total is acceptable)In Vancouver at the 4* level you have 5 re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* Vancouver...Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $68, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $75Any questions feel free to ask. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Good luck and let us know how it goes. wenbey Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 I bid until $83 ( total was 105 US)but no lucky (even include 3 1/2 stars). Thank you for the help, I will find another resource to book that day.
thereuare Posted November 17, 2008 Report Posted November 17, 2008 You can try, but i'm doubtful that you're going to find rates better than HOTWIRE or PRICELINE offer for a similar quality hotel.Have you checked HOTWIRE... they have some Downtown 4* hotels in the $95-$105 range (plus a 5* for $122) as well as some 3* properties within your budget. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
