coharahawk Posted November 14, 2008 Report Share Posted November 14, 2008 I tried doing this 2 days ago with no luck. I went in increments from $49-64 at 3.5* and adding free zones and failed. I decided to try again today and started with $55 for 3.5* for Downtown Minneapolis and bid was upgraded to 4* winning the Hilton on first bid. I feel a little foolish to win on the first bid, but this seems like a good price in relation to prior wins and to market rate. Used PRICELINE link on Betterbidding.I figured I would win either Hilton or Hyatt Regency based on previous wins, and I was actually hoping to win this hotel based on closer walk to the Metrodome for the Iowa vs Minnesota game.
