coharahawk Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 I tried doing this 2 days ago with no luck. I went in increments from $49-64 at 3.5* and adding free zones and failed. I decided to try again today and started with $55 for 3.5* for Downtown Minneapolis and bid was upgraded to 4* winning the Hilton on first bid. I feel a little foolish to win on the first bid, but this seems like a good price in relation to prior wins and to market rate. Used PRICELINE link on Betterbidding.I figured I would win either Hilton or Hyatt Regency based on previous wins, and I was actually hoping to win this hotel based on closer walk to the Metrodome for the Iowa vs Minnesota game. Go Hawks!Thanks to everyone who posted their wins! Couldn't have done it without ya.
