Have only just found this great forum, so wasn't able to use your links, but will do so in future.

Got two nights at the Sofitel in LA - fabulous. Had a great time. First night was at $156 and was a deluxe room, second night (decided to see where we got before getting two nights) was for $149 and was a superior room, but they were happy to upgrade us at no charge. Try to get room at back as front rooms very noisy.

Fabulous hotel in great position.

Am planning trip to NYC in December and will definitely use your links.
