Looks to be a very nice deal for NYC. As i'm local to the area i haven't personally stayed at too many NYC hotels, but i have stayed in this one. The rooms are a litte dark, but they're also rather large (relatively speaking by NYC standards) and it was clean.

PS- as i often recommend on the board, you're a short stroll to Ess-A-Bagel (Third Ave at 51st St) which has one of the best bagels in the city and makes for a very good, and inexpensive, breakfast one morning among locals
