Was wishfully thinking that it might be hyatt gainey ranch in light of recent post of $103/nt in nov-dec, and in light of that being the only 4.5 star hotel in north scottsdale listed on this site, but RESORT is NOT listed as an amenity on HOTWIRE.

Did you look at all amenities listed? (You have to click continue, then see all amenities. )

What dates did you pick?

I just looked at the dates engineer booked for, and the amenities don't match the ones for the property that vince l is looking at. According to the information culled from Hotwire's vacation packages (see the bottom of the hotel list), the amenities are a match for the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort and Spa, so that would be my guess.
