jimbonc Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I'm new to the board and I'm trying to book the O'Hare Hilton through Hotwire. I'm looking for a single room, one adult staying there on 11/11 through 11/12.I've researched all of the posts and on Hotwire there two 4* listing for $89 O'Hare. I would assume that one of these is for the Hilton. The information for both is:O'Hare Intl Airport ORD North ZoneAmenities: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-speed Internet, Golf NearbyO'Hare Intl Airport ORD South ZoneAmenities: Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-speed InternetFrom the other posts, I would assume that the Hilton is the "O'Hare Intl Airport ORD North Zone" as all of the other posts show "north" as opposed the the "south zone". But it still doesn't match all of the other criteria listed on previous posts for the Hilton O'Hare (like Golf Nearby). I just don't want to stay at the Westin. Thanks
slick_gd Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 The Hilton is in the North zone, but what I don't think the hotel that you are seeing is the Hilton.I noticed that HOTWIRE also mentions the tripadvisor traveler review rating for this hotel of 4/5 based on 20+ reviews. The Hilton has a 3.5/5 on 128 reviews, and the amenities do not match 100% with what has previously been reported.I do see 2 hotels that fit the criteria:Chicago Marriott Suites O'hare: 4/5 based on 35 reviewsHyatt Rosemont: 4/5 based on 38 reviewsThe Hyatt has been reported as a 3.5* hotel so my guess would be the Marriott. The Westin has a 3/5 on 64 reviews, so this one is definitely not the Westin. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
jimbonc Posted November 6, 2008 Author Report Posted November 6, 2008 Thanks for the info!!! I agree about the reviews and how they do not match. None of these hotels would be bad either, it's just that the Hilton is right there at the airport. Thanks for your help!!
