iluv2travel Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Hi! I'm new here. I am looking for some help. We are traveling at the end of this month and would like to stay somewhere in Orlando before our DCL cruise. I saw a property near Sea World but not sure what it is. We really really are trying to get a good deal on a place for 2 nights. Here is our information. Need lodging for: 11/27/08 and 11/28/08 (checkout on 11/29)2 adults, 1 child (11yo)Doesn't really matter where in Orlando, but would kinda like to drive over to one of the MK resorts to possibly see the fireworks on the night of 11/28.Not sure what else i need to post but if there is something else I need to put to get any help, let me know :) I see a place that is 4 stars for $56/night...4-star hotel in SeaWorld - I-drive South Area amenities include: fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, laundry, high speed internet access, golf nearbyI see another one that is 3 stars in Kissimmee for $39/night...3-star hotel in Kissimmee amenities include: smoke free rooms, fitness center, pool, restaurant, high speed internet access, children's activity programsWould anyone know what these two places might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never used Howire before!
slick_gd Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 The 4* SeaWorld - I-Drive looks to match the Rosen Centre Hotel. The 3* Kissimmee hasn't been reported to the board however HOTWIRE does mention the tripadvisor traveler review rating of 3.5/5 based on 120+reviews, which does seem to match the Clarion Resort & Waterpark with 3.5/5 on 127 reviews. There are many hotels in the area and it is possible that I have missed a hotel in the area but this would be my best guess. The amenities also match. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
thereuare Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 I'm not currenlty seeing the 4* on my own HOTWIRE search, and while the 3* has not yet been identified, i think the Clarion Waterpark is a good guess as that property is non-smoking and the water park could certainly qualify for the Childrens Activities icon.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. iluv2travel Posted November 8, 2008 Author Report Posted November 8, 2008 I'm still in the deciding stage and the looking around stage. Thanks for your help! We would really like to stay somewhere that has a really good price but not a dump either. I've seen so many others getting good deals on here!
iluv2travel Posted June 18, 2009 Author Report Posted June 18, 2009 We ended up staying in Orlando and did not use HOTWIRE as I was new and wasn't quite sure what I would be getting.
