If you run your HOTWIRE search again, click the CONTINUE button (with the price in it) and then click the "see all amenties" link under the amenity icons, do you also see a Childrens Amenities icon associated with this property?

....then it seems to be eithger Villas of Grand Cypress or Hyatt Grand Cypress? Am I correct?

I am luck that I check this site, or I will be sorry.

Any suggestion for how to get into a disnesy hotel using PRICELINE or HOTWIRE, Is it possible?

if it is not possible I think I will just bid a resort using PRICELINE...

Thank you very much!

The above is a match for the Hyatt Grand Cypress so that would be our best guess.

You can sometimes make different hotels appear by changing your occupancy (searching 2adults/2children or 4adults/0children, etc) but other than that you can only really work with what HOTWIRE is offering for a given search, you can't "make" a hotel appear in the offerings on a given search.

If you choose to go with PRICELINE please keep all posts in this same thread and if win a hotel thru their service we'll then update the topic title of this thread and move the entire thread to that section of the board. If you need help with a bidding strategy let us know your maximum bid and we'll advise accordingly.

At the Resort level you have NINE re-bid zones. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.

Start with our link to PRICELINE

Select Resort WDW...

Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $68, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $73, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $80.

Any questions feel free to ask.

I called the Walt Disney World Hilton and the rate is

$132 for refundable (AAA rate)

or $125 for non-refundable

However, I noticed that the same Hilton had frequently offered at a low price at Priceline, I am just not sure how many people actually are getting the discount rate during the hot season.

Anyone who are interested to get into a Disney hotel (or a hotel that is eligible having "magic hours") for this X'mas season, please share your comments....

Thanks.

How much of a discount would you need to make an 'unknown' hotel worthwhile?

Why not book the refundable rate at the Hilton (please use our Hilton link) and then continue to try PRICELINE, up to whatever amount you feel an 'opaque' purchase is still worthwhile?
