Personally, I'd recommend a few regular rate suggestions:

The Grand Hyatt is $192 on Expedia. Use coupon code FAN50 to get $50 off the final total (essentially $10 off per night = $182). The Millennium Broadway is also $208 via Expedia.com, and you can use FAN50, as well.

The Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square is $175.19 on Orbitz.com (Non-refundable), but if you use coupon code FABSAVE10, you get 10% off each night, bringing the total to about $157.69. This hotel gets mixed reviews, but the price is much more reasonable than it usually goes for.

The Dream Hotel is $179 per night on sale via Travelocity.com. If you use coupon code BONUS75 and book with a mastercard, you get $75 off the final total. Other Travelocity hotels of note (and you can also use the BONUS75 code with these) would be the 70 Park Avenue ($212), Affinia Manhattan ($210 on sale) and Hotel Mela ($210 on sale)

Quikbook.com has the Night hotel for $203 w/free breakfast, although I'd look at the Night hotel first to see if it's unique look is for you.

In terms of the HOTWIRE listings, the 4* ESB is a possible match for the 70 Park Avenue, while the 4* MTC may be the Sheraton NY. Out of the two, the potential 70 Park Avenue would be certainly preferable over the Sheraton. However, you can get the 70 Park Avenue via Travelocity for not much more.

What appears to be the Hudson (a 3.5* in MTC with fitness, business, restaurant, internet) is showing for $159.

If you are interested in using HOTWIRE, it would be greatly appreciated if you could start your purchase by clicking on the site's HOTWIRE link. If you are interested in one of the other ideas, please use the site's links to Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, Quikbook.com or Orbitz.com.

I'd be interested in this rate for June 28 and June 29th. Expedia wants $299 on my dates ($29 more than booking directly with the hotel??!!) and the code doesnt work for 2 day stay. Those rates above sure sound good.

Looks like I'm too far out from the dates to book thru Expedia and get decent rates, so I'll just keep an eye on things and hope the rate for this hotel goes down. (Ill be staying at this hotel with a group June 30th, so if I book another hotel for 2 days I'd have to transfer to this hotel to meet my group.).

Where do I find the codes on Expedia to use? I put in your code and it told me to refer to the terms for the code, but I didn't know where to read the terms. Is there a code for a 2 day stay? I did try and click thru your links to book, but couldnt find a decent price. If I book thru Expedia, I will certainly come back and click thru your site.

firefly333,

Promotion codes are usually for a limited time (ie- need to be used in the next 'x' days/weeks and for stays completed before a certain date... not extending 6+ months in the future)
