I need help identifying a hotel off of Hotwire for the Orlando International airport area.

Check in is for 12/28 for 1 night for 2 adults (we have a 1 year old also)

I had a listing for a 4 star at $69 a night with airport shuttle, fitness center, business center, high speed internet, pool and a restaurant. It also had a 3.5 out of 5 rating from 20+ guest with tripadvisor with the last rating happening august 2008.

Also had a listing for a 3 1/2 star at $66 with the same exact amenities as above but it does not have a tripadvisor rating.

Both are listed as best value.

Any help would be appreciated.

The 4* looks to be a match to the Renaissance Airport, and the 3.5* looks to match the Sheraton Suites. These would be my best guesses.

If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.

Debating on whether I can get a cheaper rate off of PRICELINE and still receive the renassance airport hotel.

We are also trying to decide if we want to stay in the Disney area that night (since we will be doing DTD or stay by the airport). We have a 6:50 flight on the 29th and will have a one year old with us. Trying to decide what is the best location for us.

Typically you can get a better deal on PRICELINE than you can on HOTWIRE, and this is due to the fact that you have no way of knowing which hotel you are going to get. There is no method to bid using PRICELINE to increase your chances of one hotel over another. If you are specifically looking for the Renaissance, I would suggest you avoid using PRICELINE as you may get the Holiday Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, or some other 3* hotel in the zone.

However, I am seeing a 4* hotel on HOTWIRE for $69 for your dates that does look to be the Renaissance. It has amenities:

shuttle, fitness, pool, restaurant, business, internet and a tripadvisor traveler rating of 3.5/5 based on 20+ reviews.

Unfortunately I can't give you too much insight as to which location would be better for an early morning flight. I know for me I always prefer to be as close as I can get to the airport to avoid any issues in the early morning, however with the baby it may be more troublesome to check in and out of hotels for such a short stay.

Again, let us know which way you are leaning and we'll try and help you find a good deal.

High folks . . . I posted this on Hotwire first, but decided to go with Priceline

I put in a bid for $49 3.5 * / 4.0 * in the Disney vicinity or Orlando Airport and I received the following:

Crowne Plaza Hotel for 12/28 for one night for 2 adults and a 1 year old.

Found out, if you stay for one night you get free airport parking for 7 days at the hotel and can take advantage of the shuttle.

We requested a king room and crib through the hotel and they were more than happy to assist. We also are receiving Priority Club Points for our stay! Thanks for all of the help!

Decided to go with Priceline and booked an airport hotel . . . placed bid of $49 for 12/28 for one night for 2 adults and 1 child (1 year) and received the Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando Airport.

We are flying out a 6:50 a.m. and we also get free parking for 7 days since we booked the hotel.

Congratulations on your success!

While you may be able to keep your car there for the duration of your trip i wouldn't depend upon this and i'd be prepared with a contingent plan if this isn't allowed. From the hotel's website, the ability to keep your car there for the duration of your stay is if you book a special "Park Fly and Go" rate, which is higher than their standard rate:

Book our 'Park, Stay and Go' package and stay for a night and park your car for upto 7 days.

Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
