bruins70
New user...Looking for 4 star in Times Square for tomorrow nite. What is the rule of thumb for bidding on priceline using hotwire as a benchmark? Link to comment
billyblaze
Not sure if this will help, but Hotwire had the Westin Times Square for $114.00 when I won the Westin on Priceline for $97.00. Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Times Square is not a Priceline zone... here is a guide to New York PRICELINE ZONES.Since you're bidding last minute i would recommend opening yourself up to MTE, MTW, and UM/CPS, but as i don't know the plans for your trip i don't know how those work out for you.Let us know what zones are acceptable, what your maximum bid is, and what star level you are looking for... we'll then be able to recommend a strategy for you to follow. You should also give this is a read: REBIDDING EXPLAINED as it will help you get the best price. Ask any questions that you may have about re-bidding.BTW, rates are very high for tomorrow nite. Do you have a back-up reserverd, if so, where and how much? If not, what will you do if you're not successful on Priceline/Hotwire? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
