slick_gd Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 You list two sets of amenities, but only list one star rating. Is the other one the 3.5* hotel?Am I correct in assuming this is what you are looking at:4* Downtown - fitness, restaurant, business, internet3.5* Downtown - fitness, pool, restaurant, business, internetChecking HOTWIRE this morning, I am seeing the same amenity combination for the 4* which can suit a number of different hotels. However, HOTWIRE also mentions that the 4* hotel has a tripadvisor traveler review rating of 3.5/5 based on 160+ reviews which we can use to narrow down the hotel. Based on the traveler rating there are 2 hotels in downtown Montreal that match:Sheraton Centre: 3.5/5 based on 174Hyatt Regency: 3.5/5 based on 175The Hyatt Regency has been seen with that exact amenity combination, and the Sheraton has been shown with something similar. Out of the two, my guess would be the Hyatt, but keep the Sheraton open as a possibility. The 3.5* hotel amenity combination matches what has been reported for the Delta and the Ritz-Carleton. There is not tripadvisor rating for these hotels so it is hard to distinguish. Either of these could be possibilities, but the Ritz-Carleton was last reported to the board for a stay almost a year ago, while the Delta was last reported within the last couple months. My guess would be the Delta, but keep the Ritz as a possibility. If you plan on reserving, help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link to start your purchase and let the board know the result.
