slick_gd Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 This one hasn't been reported to the board yet, however, HOTWIRE does list the tripadvisor traveler review rating for this hotel as 4/5 based on 120+reviews with the last one in September. Referencing tripadvisor directly, I see two hotels that match this rating:Cadet Hotel: 4/5 based on 122, last one in Oct.Astor Hotel: 4/5 based on 127, last one in Oct.The Cadet is rated as a 2 or 2.5* on several sites which make it a huge stretch to be listed as a 4* on HOTWIRE. The Astor is typically listed in the 3.5 - 4* range so that is more likely to fall in the 4* on HOTWIRE out of the two.Another note of distinction, although the date of the last reviews are off by a month, (which is not uncommon with HOTWIRE based on the lag of when they update their data). The Cadet had 3 reviews in Oct, so based on the September reviews there were only 119 which doesn't match what HOTWIRE lists. My best guess is the Hotel Astor.Help support this site by using this HOTWIRE link and let the board know the result.

slick_gd Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 HOTWIRE lists the tripadvisor traveler rating for the 2.5* hotel as 2.5/5 based on 140+ reviews. There are a couple hotels that match this, The Clay and Hotel Shelley, but Hotel Shelley seems to match all the amenities a little better. The Hotel Shelley would be my best guess. However, I am slightly concerned with the 2.5/5 traveler rating. Anything under 3 can become a little sketchy sometimes, so I would read through the reviews carefully.
