bocce1 Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I found the following on Hotwire and wanted to get thoughts on wether this is the Westin, Lowes, or the Hyatt.I need a dog friendly hotel, and the Hyatt isnt - which is why i wanted to confirm.thanks for your help!HOTWIRE:Topic Title: 4*hotel in City Center East, PhiladelphiaTopic Description: 11/27 - 11/29/2008, $119/nightPost: Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet Access - CUSTOMER FAVORITE
AaronJB Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Welcome to the site :)If you need a hotel to be dog friendly, HOTWIRE may not be the best choice, simply because there is no way to confirm 110% which hotel is showing. While a hotel could appear to be Hotel X on Hotwire, it could be the new and unreported hotel Y, for example. In other words, there is some risk involved.Expedia has the Radisson Warwick on sale for $111.30 for these dates, and the coupon code HOT10 gets $10 off each night. The hotel also gets excellent reviews (4 out of 5 average rating) on tripadvisor.com and according to the website (http://www.radisson.com/philadelphiapa) is dog friendly. The Radisson would be an option if you didn't want to chance HOTWIRE. In terms of the HOTWIRE listing, based upon the list of hotels reported on this website, the listing in question would appear to be a potential match for the Westin. The 4/5 tripadvisor rating would be a match for the Westin, too.If you would like to go with the Radisson, it would be greatly appreciated if you could use the site's link to Expedia.com to start your purchase. If the potential Westin, please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase.) Thank you, and let us know how it goes.
thereuare Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I agree 100% with what AaronJB posted above... an opaque provider may not be the best option for this stay. However, if you're willing to take the risk, the HOTWIRE hotel above is also showing (on my search at least) a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating with 120+ Reviews and this would be consistent with the Westin so that would be our best guess. However, as mentioned above, there are no guarantees. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.
