thereuare Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 Glad you got it settled... can you please add to this thread the car size and rental company which accepted your bid.I think one of the issues you were having is that once you go to 5 days you switch to a weekly rate (if you checked, you probably didn't see the total rate change much, if at all, if you tried adding one or two days to your rental) Combine this with the fact that the days you did need were all midweek (peak period for rental car companies due to business travelers willing to pay top dollar) and there was little need to discount the rate to the opaque suppliers.At least you saved a few dollars (car rentals can be 'hit or miss' thru the discount providers) and now can focus on other aspects of your trip.Thanks for sharing your win with the board and using our PRICELINE link for your bidding.Have a great trip.
