slick_gd Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 I guess your wife finally agreed to Vegas. Can you follow-up on your two Vegas threads with what you decided to book.Hotwire - Vegas - Central StripHotwire - Vegas - South Strip
yam Posted October 26, 2008 Author Report Posted October 26, 2008 yea, sorry I updated those threads now.Would like some help with these Niagara Falls hotels :)
thereuare Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 3*, $38, fitness, pool, restaurantAre you still only seeing 3 amenities for this property... when searching HOTWIRE for your dates i see 3* hotel with four amenities associated with it.Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. yam Posted October 28, 2008 Author Report Posted October 28, 2008 That 3* with three amenities is now gone. As you said, the current 3* has 4 amenities (the same above plus laundy), and the price is $32. This sounds even better as it has gone down even lower! The TA rating is 3.5, 80+ reviews last review Sept 08.The 4* and 2.5* hotels are still there but only the 2.5* has TA rating of 3.5 and 120+reviews (last review October 08).I will stay tune to your guess...thanks!
thereuare Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 The 4* matches quite a few hotels, the Doubletree, Hilton Fallsview, and Sheraton Fallsview have all been reported with this amenity combination, so any of these would be likely candidates (the amenities are common so there could be others as well)I don't have a guess for the 3*, and while 2.5* hasn't yet been identified, the TA information matches the Days Inn and Suites By the Falls so that would be my best guess for that one (although NOTE: this property has been reported before with a different amenity combination, so that casts a ray of doubt on this guess)Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Not sure how tight your budget is, but for an extra $20 i would go with the 4* hotel as i think it's a safer bet.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. yam Posted November 28, 2008 Author Report Posted November 28, 2008 I apologize for not 'closing' this thread before my trip. I got a deal for Days Inn Lundy's Lane through Expedia for $38 that night prior to our trip to Vegas. The main reason why I picked that hotel was that it was newly refurbished and rightly so, everything smells fresh with new carpets, furniture, LCD tv, bathroom and I was very impressed. I will surely not hesitate to book that hotel in the future and I will definitely use your site when booking with Expedia and any of your affiliates. :)
