LaurRne14 Posted October 25, 2008 Report Posted October 25, 2008 I just booked Planet Hollywood (South Strip) through Priceline, and I used the PRICELINE link, for $85/night. This seems to be a pretty good deal being that it's a weekend and a holiday weekend at that. The cheapest rate I could find through their website direct was $199/night so I'm definitely happy with this win!I started out at $65/night, added a re-bid zone at $75, added a different re-bid zone at $80 and then added both re-bid zones and won at $85. After my first bid I got a counter offer for $91/night but declined it because my max bid was $90 or I was going to book through the Monte Carlo direct for not much more than that.Anyways, a this seems to be a great win and this is a great site!
LaurRne14 Posted October 26, 2008 Author Report Posted October 26, 2008 As a follow-up to this post, as soon as I booked the room I called the hotel directly and requested a non-smoking room with two queen beds and they gladly accommodated. They weren't rude like some hotels can be when they see you booked through Priceline.
